The Opportunity
The Sales Representative - Northeast is part of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics - Toxicology Workplace team and will work remotely. They will be responsible for managing growth of new and existing Workplace customer accounts with the goal of driving new incremental growth.
What You'll Work On
- Handle outbound and inbound customer correspondence for prospects and existing customers via video, telephone, direct meetings and email, while maintaining relationships, providing superior service, and supplying continuing information and support regarding Workplace solutions.
- Focus on outbound cold calling and targeted marketing campaigns to gain new customer business.
- Prepare and send quotes, proposals and presentations
- Coordinate new account sales and lab implementation activities with operations and develop key contact relationships in targeted accounts.
- Lead account renewals, requests for proposals and value-based pricing delivery for customer base
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements, identify new products and defend competitive threats
- Attend trade shows, regional shows and local employer events
- Engage in entering, reporting, and reviewing relevant information in Salesforce.com and PowerBI for ongoing customer retention and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years sales experience (B2B, Inside Sales, Account Management, etc.)
- Experience in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and Salesforce
- Strong communication, verbal, and written skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Drug testing/Toxicology/Occupational Health/Diagnostics/Medical Device Sales
- Experience in lab screen and confirmation sales
- Proven track record in Sales
