We are looking for our first dedicated Sales Strategy & Operations hire, who will report to the VP, Operations. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with Sales leaders, Business Strategy & Ops, Product Analytics, Finance, IT, Marketing, Go-to-Market, Support, and HR organizations to define and build out key aspects of the operational back bone for sales. 

What You Will Be Working On: 

  • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report data to track sales performance and metrics required to inform executive decisions on an ongoing basis
  • Define and measure pipeline metrics partnering with Sales and Marketing leadership from lead to cash
  • Design and execute sales compensation plans, including setting & maintaining quotas for the global sales organization. Partner with Finance on commission payment calculations as needed
  • Plan and develop strategy and framework for enhancing sales activities, and formalize them into repetitive and scalable programs partnering with the Business Technology and Business Ops teams on execution
  • Partner with Finance and Business Ops to coordinate annual fiscal year planning efforts including headcount and ratios, territory carving, compensation design, quota setting, and launch
  • Develop relationships and joint processes with sales, finance, HR, business operations, business technology,  and other stakeholders to identify and address business operations requirements
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and lead projects as needed, including preparation for our quarterly  Board of Directors’ meetings
  • Drive consistency, standardization, and data integrity in the maturing of our distribution / sales business through best practice and innovation. This includes daily hygiene work in Salesforce cleaning up account data, updating territory rules, cleaning up data enrichment gaps, etc.
  • Coordinate, with sales management, the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all global sales channels
  • Proactively interact with Sales and stakeholders to continuously find ways to improve processes that will increase customer satisfaction and maximize potential growth

What You Bring Along:

  • 5+ years of Sales Operations, Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, or similar fields in SaaS Organizations
  • Familiarity with traditional SAAS and consumption business models, as well as experience with Product-Led-Growth
  • A data-minded individual and power user of google sheets, MS Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Knowledge of SQL will be helpful and is needed or there must a strong willingness to learn quickly
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • High level of proficiency with MS PowerPoint and G-Slides to build C-Suite level presentations
  • Solutions-focused style possessing the ability to quickly change directions given new information or shifting priorities
  • Highly organized, analytical, data-driven, and experienced at crafting business plans to support program decisions
  • Excellent communication, engagement, and cross-functional partnership skills. Comfortable working with all levels of organizations up to and including C-Suite
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
