What You’ll Do
  • Practice with Parallel as a Licensed School Psychologist conducting comprehensive learning evaluations and re-evaluations for Parallel’s school clients 
  • Design and improve upon Parallel’s provider processes and procedures for school-based service provision, for example:  
    • Standardizing systems and processes for administering testing and delivery of reports 
    • Developing and improving guidance and policies around provider time billing and indirect time 
    • Develop and oversee school providers’ partnerships with schools/districts
    • Working with Chief Clinical Officer to strengthen our quality assurance systems and processes for school based providers 
  • Manage Parallel’s team of school psychologists, behavioral mental health providers, and special education teachers   
    • Being first point of contact for clinical support and questions (escalating to Chief Clinical Officer as needed)   
    • Manage performance of school psychologists and behavioral health therapists with the support of the provider operations team 
  • Quality Assurance of our school-based assessments and behavioral mental health services:  
    • Reviewing psychologist reports 
    • Working with Chief Clinical Officer on new provider training, protocols, and support materials for school based psychologists and behavioral health providers 
    • Working with operations team to ensure we meet state regulations and compliance  
  • Assist the recruiting team in recruiting and selecting new clinicians to join the team 
  • Support new provider training and onboarding with our provider education & support team  
    • Conduct onboarding trainings, provider trainings and education sessions, and quality review sessions as needed for school based psychologists and behavioral health providers  
    • Monitoring progress during onboarding period 
  • Foster sense of community within our provider network 
    • Host and lead monthly provider meetings 
    • Design events and programs to foster community and engagement  
  • Work with the Chief Clinical Officer and COO to continuously improve our service offerings and launch new service offerings for schools  

What You’ll Need 

  • Licensed School Psychologist with at least 5 years of experience conducting school-based psychological testing and assessment, IEP development, and delivering behavioral mental health services 
  • Experience and demonstrated excellence in clinical supervision/oversight and/or teaching/training of psychological testing and assessment
  • Training and practice utilizing school-based cognitive-behavioral therapy
  • Familiarity with tele-assessment processes and procedures
  • Experience with learning assessment, with particular knowledge around learning disability (including the different models of identifying) and ADHD evaluations and determining eligibility for school-based services, remediation, placement, and accommodation
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Prior experience in program management and administration
  • Prior experience managing teams of clinicians is a plus!   
  • At least 3 months of experience practicing as a School Psychologist with Parallel and familiarity with our processes is a big plus!
