Security and Cloud Engineer

• Partner with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to prevent, assess and remediate security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.  
• Work directly with data, infrastructure, and software engineering teams to create solutions that solve or remediate security challenges. 
• Advise peers, managers, and senior leaders to help influence and drive compliance in the form of risk remediation, data classification, regulatory obligations, and other security goals.
• Lead and participate in security incidents and the development and documentation of response procedures. 
• Identify and classify data stores and implement data protection mechanisms.
• Audit and enable data encryption methods and Azure/AWS mechanisms to implement them.
• Audit and enable secure Internet protocols and Azure/AWS mechanisms to implement them.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of product experience using Azure security services and features. 
• One or more years of production experience using AWS security services and features.
• An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
• Prior experience working with Python, C#, REST API, and JSON is required.
• Azure certifications highly desired: Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer Certificate.
• AWS certifications highly desired: AWS Solution Architect, AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
• IT Security certifications: CISSP or GIAC equivalent is desired.
