Responsibilities:

  • Lead the efforts within Engineering to ensure that all security related aspects of the products follow best practices in the industry
  • Advise on the product development activities around FIPS compliance and other certifications for the product
  • Assist with documentation of security related guidelines, protections in the product and development processes for customers
  • Advise customers on best practices for configuration, use and maintenance of the product in customer facing engagements
  • Manage any necessary work with security consultants around security related activities (e.g. possible pen testing of deployed system, etc)
  • Advise on security related activities and concerns within the corporate networks and system

Requirements:

  • BSCS or equivalent experience
  • Programming experience (C, C++, Java, or C#)
  • Familiar with security frameworks such a FIPS
  • Experience with at least one public cloud deployment environment (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with security concerns around virtualization, containerization and public clouds
  • Deep understanding of security protocols and security theory
  • Knowledge and experience with security concerns related databases and data pipelines
  • Experience with PKI and SSL technologies
  • Ability to present ideas and information in written and verbal form
