The Dropbox team is growing, and we’re looking for a Security Engineering Manager to support our Application Security team.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the strategy and execution for securing our applications, ensuring the protection of our customers' valuable data. As a Security Engineering Manager, you will manage significant complexity and the skill to deliver multiple major workstreams simultaneously, all in service of the overall business and our customers. Requirements
  • Extensive experience in applicationQu security, with a strong understanding of secure development methodologies, secure coding practices, and industry standards such as OWASP
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects and multiple teams, delivering impactful outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security, mobile application security, threat intelligence, compliance regulations, incident response, and security tools and technologies
  • Strategic thinking and change management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complexity, drive innovation, and make informed decisions that align with business priorities
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on achieving results while maintaining operational excellence and ensuring a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Experience in talent management, including team development, hiring, and creating an environment that fosters personal growth and career advancement
