Delaware Valley Residential Care is currently seeking a Security Officer to Maintain the safety and security of our campus, as well as its residents, employees, and guests. Shift: FT, Monday-Friday, every other weekend; 7am-3pm. Responsibilities: • Provide a visible deterrence to crime and prohibited activities by patrolling the buildings and grounds • Investigate incidents of unusual circumstances reported by personnel, visitors, or residents • Respond to emergency calls for assistance to control disorderly conduct of combative residents, visitors or employees • Responds to Fire Alarms and other emergency needs • Escorts and assists visitors, residents and personnel to and from parking areas, as requested • Monitors campus using electronic surveillance equipment Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED,required • 1-2 years experience field of security,preferred • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record,required • Demonstrated ability to remain calm in tense and high-pressure situations • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and promote a positive environment for both team members and participants • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled • Proven track record of timeliness and accountability What We Offer: • Paid Training • Competitive compensation package, including; • Medical, vision, and dental coverage • Generous Paid Time Off #hp
