Job Description

Microsoft's Edge and Platform, Devices and Gaming (EDG) Security Team is responsible for the security practices and baseline of some of Microsoft's largest and most important products and services across Edge devices, Windows OS and Devices, Xbox, Microsoft Game Studios, and more. We protect and secure products, services, and associated End-2-End supply chains.
The EDGs Platform and Build Security team delivers secure environments and solutions for highly critical and unique supply chain services and drives cross organizational build and release security initiatives. We are looking for an experienced PM to manage programs across product, tool and engineering systems owners to close critical security gaps in the complex and diverse systems which build and release Microsoft software. Help protect our customers by ensuring every product we ship is the product we intended to build!Responsibilities
  • Program manage and drive execution in collaboration with engineering teams around various security initiatives such as build integrity, government cybersecurity conformance, and highly secure platform operation.
  • Assist customers in onboarding to highly secure solutions, iterate on customer requirements, improve operations costs and increment security.
  • Contribute to improving the security posture of all services in EDG, design/develop new security centric features and programs with a focus on strategy and scalability.
  • Be the voice of our customers, business partners and bubble up risks, help build mitigation plans and deliver results

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years Technical Program/Project Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Robust problem-solving skills.
  • CISSP or applicable GIAC certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to include executive level communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Passion for software security concepts and techniques.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
