Job Description

Position Summary:

The Security Solution Consultant is responsible for selling Pax8’s Cloud Security Software as a Service (SaaS) products to Managed Service Providers (MSPs) across various industries and regions in the United States and Canada. They use creative methods to engage new and current leads manage a sales pipeline and address any concerns from MSP Partners.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries about our Cloud Security SaaS products via video chat email and phone.

  • Creatively follows up with new and existing leads to maintain active engagement.

  • Assess Partner and customer needs provide product demonstrations close sales and place orders for Cloud Security SaaS products.

  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to close deals when needed.

  • Build and manage sales pipelines and forecast monthly sales.

  • Assist in resolving customer concerns by working with the Service Delivery team to investigate issues.

  • Maintain customer sales account records in Salesforce and prepare various reports.

Ideal Skills Experience and Competencies:

  • At least one (1) year of direct sales experience in a Sales role or equivalent preferably in a B2B environment

  • At least one (1) year of SaaS experience

  • Knowledge of security services including SaaS and platform as a service technology.

  • Understanding of CIS controls NOC SOC and ZTNA.

  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and LinkedIn for developing Partner relationships.

  • Familiarity with Pax8’s full line of security products

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security DevOps Windows Server Microsoft Office 365 Google Cloud Microsoft Azure Basic SaaS architecture Networking Open-Source Technology and Best Practices for Cloud SaaS

  • Ability to speak to and sell Pax8’s value proposition for Cloud Security SaaS.

  • Understanding of network connectivity the Internet and cloud computing technology.

  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota attainment (in the top 10-20% of sales reps) in past positions.

  • Strong interpersonal verbal and writing skills.

  • CompTIA security+ certification attainment is expected within the first 1 year of employment.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect an OTE starting at $74550
