Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians in NC VA Coastal Health Care System

The VA Fayetteville NC Coastal Healthcare System provides health care services to approximately 80,000 Veterans in a 19-county area of southeastern North Carolina. Our facilities include the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, two health care centers—one in Fayetteville and one in Wilmington, and 9 outpatient clinics. The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking physicians for their expanding ER at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.

• BE/BC in Emergency Medicine
• Veteran patient pool only
• Work schedule: (7am/7pm; 12am/12pm; 9am/9pm)
• Call coverage twice per month with a variable schedule, nights/weekend/holidays/ occasional overnight may be required as coverage, but the facility does have dedicated nocturnists.
• 12 dedicated physicians, 12 APPs and 3 admin support staff for an 18-bed capacity ER
