Senior Account Executive
Job Description
Location: United States (Remote)
Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 Base (DOE & Geographic Location)
*This position is remote and not eligible for relocations. All positions must reside within the country listed within this job description.
About the Role:
Applied Value Technologies is seeking a Senior Account Executive to cultivate new clients by proactively establishing relationships with executive, business, and technical decision-makers within our target market. This role will be responsible for preparing and executing our go-to-market strategy and selling managed/IT services, staff augmentation, interim consulting, and application support.
Our clients are Fortune 100 technology companies, providing platforms that help connect people around the world.
About You:
We are looking for someone to:
- Conduct outbound lead generation through a combination of phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messaging and networking, social media, and other digital channels to bring in new clients.
- Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within AVT, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
- Help refine the AVT sales process and go-to-market strategy.
- Proactively cultivate relationships with executive, business, and technical decision-makers at high levels of the customer's organization through consultative engagement to establish alignment and secure buy-in and execution.
- Proactively develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and technology needs and priorities for each account.
- Leverage consultative and insightful listening skills that disrupt the mindset of customers by bringing innovative ideas that showcase the need for change and new strategic direction.
- Develop and oversee the execution of account plans utilizing common sales and delivery methodology for the AVT sales organization for multiple accounts and work to ensure engagements yield high volume sales.
- Develop strategies to manage pipeline and meet sales goals by reviewing forecasts, assessing, and mitigating risks, and ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities.

- Has the DNA of a hunter with successful experience in sales, driven by continuous improvement and hitting targets. You are particularly comfortable reaching out to people via a combination of email, social networks, and phone channels.
- Is very organized and able to keep the discipline and the cadence for a business that is based on a large number of interactions at a very high velocity.
Some stuff you need:
- 8+ years of hands-on B2B external sales experience, generating outbound pipelines with large, complex clients.
- Quantifiable data points to illustrate YoY sales goal achievements.
- Experience selling IT Services, Managed Services, Staff Augmentation, Interim Consulting.
- Solution-based selling experience.
- Ability to travel for client meetings as needed.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a similar area.
- Challenger sales experience.
- Technical background.
- Experience with Application support services at a BPO.
- Experience working with Fortune 100 enterprise clients.
