Job Description

The Senior Account Manager, B2B is responsible for leading the partnership with current and prospective customers to sell the B2B Workrise solutions across all basins.  This position collaborates closely with internal partners to understand all products Workrise offers, enhancements being developed and shares any insights gained from customers to help position Workrise to be top of mind for B2B solutions.  The Senior Account Manager serves as a subject matter expert and is a mentor for others on the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Relationship Development/Management 

    • Lead the developing and ongoing cultivation of relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to obtain leads for new business opportunities
    • Initiate all proposals, new onboarding requests, and Customer implementation exercises and manage from beginning through to maturity
    • Liaise with the Operations Department on all issues through completion of onboarding documents, customer compliance, and implementation process
    • Communicate with customers in a full-service capacity from onboarding through end of work with a regular cadence via in-person, voice call, or electronic means
    • Advance communications to all clients in regards to all products Workrise has to offer such as Contingent Labor, B2B, and Midstream applications, with particular attention to B2B opportunities
    • Form partnerships with clients, understand their operations, challenges, needs and solution around those to bring value additive solutions
  • Process Management and Documentation

    • Update SalesForce with all communications, create and maintain opportunities, leads, accounts, forecasts etc
    • Partner with other Account Managers on navigating sales efforts and partner with them to supplement their efforts and win together 
    • Ensures all documentation and processes are updated and reviewed regularly
  • Business Trends and Mentoring:

    • Stays abreast of current and emerging industry trends and best practices in the marketplace
    • Makes data-driven recommendations to management regarding processes, observations, etc. to increase Workrise’s competitiveness in the marketplace
    • Leverage reporting tools to continually improve insights and trends to clients and the business
    • Provides support and mentors to other Account Managers on the team, sharing insights, knowledge, and experience

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a Sales, Business Development, Client-Facing and/or Account manager role
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the Energy industry 
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Ability to drive a non-commercial vehicle (must possess a valid driver's license)
  • Experience with CRM and messaging platforms
  • Experience in dealing with multiple internal stakeholders to solve problems and introduce positive solutions
  • High-level knowledge of oilfield Drilling, Completion, and Production Operations 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to execute on multiple competing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment preferred
  • Experience mentoring other Account Managers preferred
