The Account Management Team:
The Account Management team at JW Player plays a big part in the continued success of the business. Not only does the team focus on building strong client relationships, they are also responsible for driving a significant portion of the company's revenue through renewals and growth of existing partnerships.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our East Coast team. Managing a wide range of publishers, broadcasters, fitness, e-learning companies, and more, our Account Managers make massive impacts to JW Player's growth in the booming video space! With a consultative approach and product-focused mindset, this individual will be responsible for retaining and growing media companies all over the LATAM region.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will:
- Drive the success of top tier accounts by proactively communicating via email, call, in person meetings, and business reviews, building relationships, and understanding clients’ business needs. This includes learning about customers’ business models and video strategies, how JW Player is a factor, and using that information to help customers achieve their video and business goals.
- Manage the end to end customer lifecycle from implementation to product adoption to renewing SaaS agreements.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by confidently conveying JW Player’s value proposition and promoting adoption of products.
- Collaborate with all areas of the organization, including Support, Product, and Technical Services both to understand JW Player’s products and process and to advocate internally for your customers.
- Work within internal systems including Salesforce and Gainsight to gain a greater understanding of customer data. Maintain and improve CRM data.
- Lead Client Advocacy and improved Client Experience
- Assist in gathering client feedback, defining processes, and identifying best practices.
Requirements of the role:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Ability to deliver results in driving pipeline growth for SaaS-based deals
- Solid interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passionate about understanding and learning new technology
- Experience in a quota carrying role
- Thorough working knowledge of sales tools, including Salesforce.com
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- High ethical standards and level of integrity
