A Senior Account Manager (SAM) is responsible for expansion of business from existing accounts for MedCerts. A successful candidate in this role will be responsible for identifying new opportunities for experiential learning and/or employment opportunities and work closely with the business-to-business (B2B), Workforce, and Career Services teams in their assigned region. The SAM will collaborate with high-profile workforce agencies, educational institutions and healthcare organizations on their needs for future candidates and establish and maintain relationships that positions MedCerts as a preferred partner for their talent pipeline.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and retain relationships with existing partnersÂ
• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularlyÂ
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clientsÂ
• Take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
• Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
• Build client relationships to achieve long-term partnershipsÂ
• Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
• Work to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
• Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
• Generate progress reports to give to clients and higher-ups within the organization
• Prepare and present MedCerts partnership proposals to prospective employersÂ
• Develop growth strategies and plans
• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of MedCerts programs and student qualificationsÂ
• Follow industry trends locally and nationally to anticipate future talent needs
• Report on successes and areas needing improvements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in recruitment, healthcare, business development or salesÂ
• Experience facilitating presentations via webinar or online environmentÂ
• Critical thinker and problem-solverÂ
• High-level communication skills (written and verbal)
• Cross-functional collaboration skillsÂ
• Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
• Experience working to and exceeding targets
• Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• In-depth understanding of clinical settings and hiring qualifications
• Experience with job placement, talent recruitment, and or sales
• Existing network of HR administrators or hiring managers in clinical or academic settings

WORKING CONDITIONSÂ
 This is currently a remote-based position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm).Â
