Senior Accountant

Auto Driveaway and its affiliate is a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services. Auto Driveaway primarily serves large corporate fleets, fleet management companies, up fitters, dealerships and vehicle OEMs with fast, safe, and reliable door-to-door driveaway service nationwide. J&J Driveaway primarily serves truck OEMs, dealerships, and truck fleets, providing the transportation of medium and heavy-duty assets and specialized equipment moved as single units or decked up to four at a time. Reporting directly to the Controller, theSenior Accountantis responsible for various accounting duties and other tasks necessary to maintain accurate and detailed accounting records. This is a visible position within the organization and requires someone with curiosity, attention to detail, and critical thinking. Role and Responsibilities • Data entry into multiple systems • General ledger maintenance • Preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations • Assist with month-end and year-end close • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required • Work with other team members to efficiently carry out daily tasks Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA candidate a plus • Minimum 2-5 years accounting experience • Customer service oriented • Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills • Ability to manage time and workload • Quickly adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • High attention to detail; able to methodically review the execution of procedures and identify issues • Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications, experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus Auto Driveaway participates in E-Verify.
