Job description

The Financial Reporting Senior will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial results and compliance of reported results with accounting principles generally accepted in the U.S. (“GAAP”). Duties will include the production of periodic financial reports, external financial statement filings, assisting in managing annual and quarterly audit procedures, and maintaining effective Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR). Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger functional team. Essential Functions • Assist in the preparation of filings with the SEC and supporting documents, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, Proxy Statements, and other required filings • Manage preparation of the statement of cash flows and perform the necessary analysis for internal and external reporting purposes • Research and drafting of new disclosures for the quarterly and annual reports • Involvement in technical accounting projects as needed • Assist in earnings call preparation and investor relations as needed • Assist in developing and maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures • Assist in managing quarterly reviews and annual audits with external audit firms • Assist in various ongoing and ad-hoc projects or initiatives as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Strong understanding of GAAP and rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) • Strong project management skills • Accounting research and problem-solving skills • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills • Comfort in high growth, rapidly changing business environments Experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas • Experience with using Workiva Wdesk • Experience with XBRL tagging • Preference will be given to candidates with a Certified Public Accountant designation • Experience with managing and working with auditors Education • Bachelor's degree in accounting EducationRequired • Bachelors or better in Accounting Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
