Job Description

ECS is seeking a Senior Advisor to work in our Orlando, FL office.

Job Description:

The Contractor shall support the development, data gathering, writing, verification, and publication of various analysis reports.

4 briefings per year per program, and white papers, etc., in support of the 24 direct mission programs and 40 customer programs for PM TRADE in support of both the acquisition planning and execution of the programs.

The Contractor shall assist in the preparation and revision of 20 SOWs, 5 specifications, 3 System Engineering Plans, and 30 management documents for use in acquisitions.

The Contractor shall assist the government as an advisor during 12 evaluations of Contractor technical, management and cost proposals in accordance with established evaluation factors and criteria, provide input to proposal evaluation reports to the Source Selection Evaluation leads and/or chairperson.

The Contractor shall assist in the coordination and review the statements of work and planned funding from customers to ensure the effort is tied to proper appropriations. Review and recommend appropriate contract vehicle to program management.

The contractor shall act in an advisory capacity to prepare and submit Price and Availability (P&A) estimates for training systems and manpower and travel budgetary estimates.

In support of the government APMs, the Contractor shall act in an advisory capacity to prepare, maintain, review, and revise.

Required Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge of military doctrine and tactics.
  • Knowledge of the Military logistics process.
  • Knowledge of the deployment and employment of military combat, combat support, and or combat service support systems.
  • Knowledge of acquisition products and other training support materials.
  • Knowledge of military command relationships and operating procedures at the Joint, unified and specified command level and operational force employment.
  • Knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulation and Simulators (TADSS) and of operational testing.
  • Knowledge of the Joint planning process.
  • Knowledge of the development and production of live, virtual and constructive training.
  • Extensive knowledge of military doctrine, tactics and procedures, and individual, crew and collective training development and management.
  • Ability to evaluate current programs with emphasis on the ability of those programs to satisfy operational user training and OPTEMPO requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate fielded programs with emphasis on the cost-effective implementation of targeted technical upgrades for extended life cycle support.
  • Ability to develop metrics to assess the value added by PEO STRI products to the warfighter.
