Job Summary

This position will support the organization with analytics relative to global consumers and markets of Harley-Davidson products, services, and experiences. The Senior Analyst will provide analytics and related expertise within the motorcycle and parts & accessory businesses. This role will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, demographic trends, market risks and opportunities, and helping to drive the organization forward with self-service analytics tools. This role will also be expected assist on larger ad-hoc projects identified by company leadership. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with ambiguity and has an insatiable curiosity to uncover why, not just what.

Job Responsibilities:• Effectively analyze and distill data into patterns, trends, and insights meaning you will:

  • Identify clear lines of questioning
  • Extract, wrangle, and structure data from multiple sources
  • Dive deep with question appropriate methods and tools to uncover new insights
  • Create clear and concise presentations of project results with business implications
• Translate business needs to design metrics and dashboards for insight, reporting, and self-service analytics• Perform ad-hoc analytics requests to drive product and sales business cases• Proactively research and analyze industry trends, opportunities, and risks

Education Requirements

A bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative discipline is required. Advanced training in statistics, predictive analytics, economics, business intelligence or a related field is preferred.

Experience Requirements • Typically 3-5 years of experience• Ability to frame problems and solutions and bring structure to ambiguous environments.• Strong communication skills in written and oral presentations and reports.• Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills.• Proven expertise with various quantitative techniques, data formats, and methodologies• Proven expertise with data analytics software and/or languages (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, etc.)• Knowledge of SQL and proven ability to work with diverse data sources, formats, and frameworks

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
