Job Description

The Senior Analyst – Commercial and Strategic is a dynamic role, assisting in both financial and operational strategic projects around growth, profitability, and transformation with direct influence on decision outcome. The Senior Analyst – Commercial and Strategic performs complex operational, financial, and data analysis on multiple business units to support potential business initiatives. The Senior Analyst – Commercial and Strategic partners with senior cross-functional leaders to identify growth opportunities within identified strategic client accounts through creating specific analytics, enabling better business decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as strategic partner to senior leaders translating business problems into more specific questions that can be answered through analytics to aid in the growth of strategic accounts.
  • Build financial and operating models to solve complex problems by providing data-driven insights/advice to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present actionable recommendations from analysis in a clear and compelling format.
  • Collaborates internally with the finance team members to improve processes and solve for new challenges impacted by strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain models that can unpick the change in revenue composition of strategic client accounts to measure performance, to inform on opportunities for further growth and identify risk to achievement of targets.
  • Partner with Growth Sector leaders to maintain forecasts and prepare budgets to manage the OPEX spend within their respective cost centers.
  • Collaborates with finance team members to ensure that forecasting and budgeting for strategic client accounts is reflective of growth initiatives being pursued.
  • Create simplified, consistent, and actionable solutions to abstract ideas balancing big picture thinking with acute attention to detail.
  • Cultivate and establish performance metrics using subjective understanding of the business to help optimize the performance of strategic accounts.
  • Self-starter who can take tasks from start to finish and enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Education:

  • CPA (or equivalent) designation required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in Public Accounting/Consulting or similar Analyst role

Exposure:

  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Effective communicator and influencer
  • HR/Professional Services industry interest

This role a remote for candidates based in Brookfield, WI or surrounding areas. 

Language Requirements: English

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals in this position is of $78,000- $90,000 dependent upon experience, geography, and industry knowledge. 
This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on the achievement of defined goals and benefits including:
