The Senior Analyst, Talent Operations will work closely with team members and leaders to deliver Human Resources support in executing key business and people priorities. We seek a HR professional who will provide functional guidance combined with a seamless service experience to our team members and people leaders. Â This position will require the individual to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership, and accountability to effectively provide HR support to our Village team members.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of building relationships across all levels of an organization. Well-developed interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence and flexibility will be integral to success in this role.  The ability to navigate within ambiguity, a service orientation, and a high level of humility are all requirements for successful assimilation into our collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.  You’ll be trusted to develop partnerships with our business managers and leaders with a focus on our core values of Getting Stuff Done, Innovation, and Building Relationships. Â
How you can make a difference
- Executing against key talent policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal employment law
- Managing low to medium risk employee relations issues; partnering with employees and managers to address any questions or concerns with some guidance from Talent Operations leadership
- Assisting with reviewing and enhancing and administering HR/talent programs and services including compensation, leaves and accommodations, performance management and training
- Building successful stakeholder relationships as a thoughtful, detail oriented and responsive HR partner
- Responding to general employee inquiries around benefits, payroll, PTO and directing them to the appropriate team for resolution either through email or phone
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations
- Administer and maintain various onboarding and offboarding activities; including I-9 Processing, compensation changes, exit survey interviews and reports, etc.
- Maintaining tasks related to new hires and transfers; including, I-9 processing, memos, report tracking, compensation changes, etc. and ensure communication to Corporate Talent team
- Maintain the Exit/Offboarding process; including, requesting exit memos, entering exit survey event, answering basic questions, communicate with other departments to ensure timely and transparent coordination
- Ensuring all documentation pertaining to hiring, termination, and employee changes are communicated to the Corporate Talent team
- Communicate regularly with the HR Service Delivery and Payroll teams regarding requests and escalate any concerns with the request as appropriate
- Ensure confidentiality of all Employee records in compliance with HIPPA and internal policies
Skills for success
- Proven ability to execute on foundational HR work such as employee relations, system audits, reporting and navigating various HR programs
- Desire to be a hands-on team member with a track record of “rolling up your sleeves” to drive desired outcomes
- Strong research, writing, analytical and critical reasoning skills
- A willingness to learn on your own and take initiative, and is proactive in thinking through multiple solutions before barriers or problems arise
- The ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with competing priorities
- An inclination towards team-based work product and results
- Experience in employment regulations, legislation, and compliance
- A desire to be accountable for owning problems from design to implementation
- An unparalleled sense of urgency and commitment to getting stuff done without sacrificing quality or experience
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage competing priorities while continuing to advance business critical initiatives
- An ability to gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do
- Based in a Village Medical market in the Central, Mountain or Pacific time zone, with an openness to travel up to 20%
Experience to drive change
- Excitement and passion for healthcare and being part of a close-knit, entrepreneurial team
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, time management and the ability to problem solve in a logical manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manipulate data in Excel including v-lookups and pivot tables
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressive HR experience; ideally an environment with a large non-exempt population
- Bachelor’s degree required

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65,000.00 to $81,000.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
