Position Summary

As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our growing accounting & finance team. The Senior Accountant will need to be motivated, hands-on, and willing to work on a range of tactical and technical projects to ensure success of the finance team. This individual will need to be a trailblazer, working to enhance and improve accounting, financial, and reporting processes. This individual will also be a business partner and leader within the organization and will be required to have strong, senior-level knowledge and experience in a growing accounting and financial organization, with SaaS experience preferred.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:

  • Coordination and execution of timely and accurate monthly and annual financial close process, including in-depth and technical review of all accounts and results, including all reporting and budget-to-actual variances.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate accounting treatment of all transactions and reporting under US GAAP.
  • Oversee all technical accounting, including research and creation of accounting policies and position memos.
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reporting for senior leadership, management & investor boards
  • Support annual audit engagement and tax processes to ensure timely and accurate filings.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Controller to help drive continuous process and system improvements, striving for efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
  • Provide technical and managerial accounting support to all areas of the company.
  • Special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as required.

What will make you successful:

  • 3-5 years' progressive accounting experience, Public Accounting background preferred.
  • Technology/Software/SaaS industry background
  • Experience working with Private Equity backed organizations.
  • Advanced working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition, equity-based compensation arrangements and business combinations.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Open-Air a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including an ability to efficiently solve complex problems.
  • Successful track record in fast paced, high growth environments.

Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. This position may require after work hours and occasional weekends, depending on work demands.
