This position works out of our Sunnyvale CA, Alameda CA locations in Lingo.

You will analyze app infrastructure and software designs and implementations from a security perspective and identify and resolve potential risks and threats. You will secure technology assets across the infrastructure, cloud, and data tiers. You will carry out appropriate security analysis, defense, and countermeasures at every stage of the software development life cycle for a robust and reliable app.

What you'll do

• Build security automation and react to new threat scenarios
• Perform threat simulations and penetration tests to identify and detect possible risks
• Provide security recommendations on service design and application development and coding
• Provide leadership for application vulnerability scanning and penetration testing remediation
• Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other technology and business teams
• Ensure that security, risk, and any relevant certifications are identified and embedded in our technology design and architecture decisions
• Manage integration by checking vulnerability with static and dynamic code analysis tools
• Discover security exposures and develop mitigation plans; report and fix the technical debt
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, DevOps, Product) while carrying out daily tasks
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in app/software product security
• Strong hands-on experience with designing the secure deployment and monitoring of applications and infrastructure in public/hybrid cloud environments
• Strong knowledge and expertise in app development, cybersecurity, cloud development, and deployment
• Experience in agile development, with security architecture (or similar) experience
• Strong hands-on experience and expertise in cloud security and identity management services
• University degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar technical disciplines
