The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As a Senior Application Development Engineer (AEM) this role will provide support on microservices development as part of Centene's Adobe Experience Manager team, supporting AEM development, and remediation on quality gate issues.

Position Purpose:

Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions. Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide design, technical analysis, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and support expertise representing the interest of the business across the enterprise.

Contribute to the entire implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.

Meet with business partners to understand business needs.

Responsible for overall design of the solution.

Design, build and test applications.

Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.

Additionally you will bring:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.

4+ years of related experience.

Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Required Experience:

Experienced with development in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and specific experience in backend of AEM (microservices) required

Strong development experience in JAVA, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, React, CSS/LESS, JEST, Junit, and Accessibility required

Experience with Oracle or SQL Server required

Experience with web services, messaging, and stored procedures required

Experience evaluating and improving Code Quality /Standards required

Experience working with and directing third-party Application Developers required

Knowledge of Programming Concepts; Software Design required
