Senior Capture Manager, IPS - Remote

Duties and Responsibilities:

Senior Capture Manager is responsible for developing captures based on IPS portfolio that leverage capabilities and connections both internally and across industry to win new work.

Responsibilities include the research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans. Evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning. May assist with special studies in areas such as operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, or cost containment. Under broad direction, responsible for identifying market opportunities and leads the sales and technical teams to grow profitable revenue for the company. Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client contacts, typically at General Manager level.

Participates in development of marketing and business plans, strategy implementation, and overseeing and controlling the business development budget and forecasts for defined area of responsibility. Serves as a liaison with KBR counterparts on cross-business unit opportunities.

Needs to thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals. Must be able to develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases. Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices and leads white paper and RFI responses.

Plan and participate in capture activities, to include identifying opportunities, lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts, developing strategy, and leading solutioning sessions on capture efforts. Prioritizes the allocation of sales and technical resources to accomplish the objectives of the strategic business plan and protect the existing customer base.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

Over 18 years' experience in operations and Business Development in support of commercial clients

Customer Engagement Experience with commercial space manufacturing, military, and overall commercial areas

Proven track record of strategically increasing revenue by at least 10% annually Proven contributor to new product development Knowledge and understanding of asset management, metrology, performance-based logistics, and quality assurance solutions required

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified

Lean Manufacturing Certified
