The Protenus Healthcare Compliance Analytics platform is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that ingests robust, unique data feeds to provide visibility into potential patterns of suspicious behavior that may otherwise go unnoticed. Our AI and advanced analytics empowers subject matter experts to mitigate and ultimately reduce organizational risk  — whether it's an employee improperly accessing patient records, or a clinician diverting medications — in an efficient, accurate and scalable manner. As we continue to grow and scale, making sure our technology services and infrastructure is operating at peak performance is no easy feat. We are looking to welcome a new Senior Cloud Engineer onto our team to help us develop a new microservice platform within AWS. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, securing, and monitoring AWS infrastructure and other cloud services utilizing Infrastructure as Code tooling.

• Work as part of a team of engineers that are developing an entirely new platform within AWS
• Utilize Hashicorp Terraform and associated tools to build out infrastructure utilizing an Infrastructure as Code approach
• Create monitoring for infrastructure and related systems in Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
• Develop and implement testing for infrastructure components to ensure reliability and tracking to SLAs
• Perform cost analysis and reporting for existing and future cloud resources
• Build and support infrastructure abstractions for value stream development team use
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud configuration issues as they arise
• Improve the support experience by developing best practices / playbooks / documentation based on learnings and technical implementations

• 7+ years working with public cloud services, with at least 4 years experience utilizing AWS
• 3+ years experience developing with Hashicorp Terraform in an automated environment
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling to build, test, and deploy cloud resources
• Understanding of AWS networking and security concepts along with how to leverage them in an automated fashion
• Proficiency with Docker containers and container orchestration and management
• Demonstrated experience building and operating a microservices-based platform for production use
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to articulate complex technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences

• Experience working in the healthcare industry or another industry with protected data sets
• AWS associate level certifications
• Kubernetes experience, especially AWS EKS
• Experience with big data platforms, both SQL and noSQL solutions
• Working knowledge of Istio service meshes
