Trilogy Federal provides financial management, information technology (IT) consulting, program management services, and strategic consulting to federal agencies. Trilogy Federal is looking for a motivated and independent Senior Consultant with knowledge and experience in project management to support a large Federal agency. As our Sr Consultant, you will be interacting with client directly and helping client and team to meet project goals. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent core skills (meeting minutes, presentations, capturing/distilling information, strategic insight on project next steps) and have supported the Veterans Administration or another Federal agency, with experience in a client-facing role. The chosen candidate will have a critical role on a high-performing team improving healthcare for Veterans. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a variety of teams, including technical resources, end user groups, and stakeholders to define, analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows. 
  • Conduct analysis of specific issues and identification of alternatives. 
  • Develop and deliver compelling and polished presentations to government personnel and large teams. 
  • Develop and maintain project management artifacts for senior government officials and large teams to include, but not limited to: Process Flows, Meeting Minutes, Action Item Logs, and Risk Registers.
  • Assist in risk management activities including identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks. 
  • Capture spoken information in real-time in documents and spreadsheets (e.g., live edits to documents, capture of questions and answers during presentations, etc.). 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Minimum 8 years' total experience (strong preference for federal consulting)
  • Prior consulting experience 
  • Experience creating project artifacts including process flows, meeting minutes, project schedules, and presentations 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal 
  • Ability and drive to learn from challenges and take on progressive responsibility 
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently 
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint including significant experience using Visio for creating process flows and PowerPoint for creating presentations 
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VA or Federal experience 
  • PMP certification
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare organization (e.g., hospital, health system, health insurance company, military health etc.)
