Senior Consultant
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a variety of teams, including technical resources, end user groups, and stakeholders to define, analyze and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.Â
- Conduct analysis of specific issues and identification of alternatives.Â
- Develop and deliver compelling and polished presentations to government personnel and large teams.Â
- Develop and maintain project management artifacts for senior government officials and large teams to include, but not limited to: Process Flows, Meeting Minutes, Action Item Logs, and Risk Registers.
- Assist in risk management activities including identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks.Â
- Capture spoken information in real-time in documents and spreadsheets (e.g., live edits to documents, capture of questions and answers during presentations, etc.).Â
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree requiredÂ
- Minimum 8 years' total experience (strong preference for federal consulting)
- Prior consulting experienceÂ
- Experience creating project artifacts including process flows, meeting minutes, project schedules, and presentationsÂ
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonalÂ
- Ability and drive to learn from challenges and take on progressive responsibilityÂ
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirementsÂ
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrentlyÂ
- Proficient in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint including significant experience using Visio for creating process flows and PowerPoint for creating presentationsÂ
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
- VA or Federal experienceÂ
- PMP certification
- Prior experience working in a healthcare organization (e.g., hospital, health system, health insurance company, military health etc.)Â
