Senior Consultant, GovCon

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead multiple, simultaneous Unanet implementations of varying complexity, while ensuring client satisfaction and success. You will bring a subject matter expertise in the Unanet solution, all while framing the solution in industry best practices and enabling customers to achieve their business goals. 

What You'll Do 

• Lead implementation activities for engagements of varying complexity 
• Coordinate and complete discovery, requirements gathering, and configuration activities (e.g., core data load for projects, tasks, customers, employees, subcontractors) 
• Understand and interpret client business and accounting policy requirements in order to configure Unanet to meet their needs, including invoicing requirements, revenue recognition, labor costing, cost accounting needs, etc.
• Assist clients with their first month end close and reconciliation cycle, including initializing A/R aging, A/P aging, WIP, unbilled, bank recons, etc. 
• Work closely with Project Management resources to execute on the standard Unanet implementation methodology and support the customer throughout the implementation process to aid in their successful adoption of Unanet and achievement of business goals 
• Lead customer training sessions during Unanet engagements
• Maintain target utilization and realization, as determined by supervisor
• Collaborate with supervisor to organize workload to support multiple, simultaneous implementations 
• Participate in and support efforts to continuously improve Professional Services processes and procedures 
• Achieve and maintain appropriate Unanet certifications and assist other team members in maintaining these certifications
• Participate in group meetings and training sessions when appropriate to gain experience and knowledge about the Unanet product
• Serve as a mentor and coach for consulting team members
• Stay up to date on new Unanet product feature functionality

Your First 90 Days 

In your first 30 Days: 

• Attend HR Employee Orientation and meet Unanet team 
• Review all pre-recorded videos of Unanet features available on the HelpCenter 
• Review all pre-recorded videos of Unanet features available within the Learning management System 
• Attend all available training sessions and webinars 
• Shadow implementation consultant on agreed upon engagements 
• Perform limited billable activities on customer implementations
• Develop a detailed training plan with your manager 

In your first 60 Days: 

• Continue to shadow implementations and continue to work through the defined training plan 
• Attend all available training sessions and webinars 
• Using recorded resources and a demo database, you’ll become proficient in our product's specialty feature: Time and Expense Tracking 
• Perform additional billable activities on customer implementations

In your first 90 Days: 

• Continue to shadow implementations and continue to work through the defined training plan 
• Using recorded resources and a demo database, you’ll become proficient in our product's specialty feature: Financials 
• Lead all or some portions of client implementations 
• Achieve ~15% billable utilization target

Who You Are 

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience with various accounting systems, project management, and/or practical accounting experience
• Proficient at working with and manipulating large data sets using Excel

Your Differentiators 

• CPA 
• Experience in Government Contracting
• Prior business consulting experience
• Experience using government accounting software such as Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, and QuickBooks is preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $115,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
