About the Role:

Motive is seeking to add to our high performing and rapidly expanding Marketing team. We are looking for a resourceful, collaborative and enterprise-focused customer marketing professional to build and execute a world class customer marketing strategy. In this role, you will partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to execute customer advocacy programs that showcase the value of Motive solutions. You will work with customer advocates to share their stories through media and press opportunities, case studies, videos and speaking opportunities at industry events. You will develop the roadmap for launching the inaugural Motive customer advisory board and user group, and play a key role in customer experience programs at the company.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage library of customer reference contacts as well as assets including blog, video, case study, and media articles, and identify gaps in coverage
  • Work with marketing, and sales enablement teams to infuse customer reviews, social review badges and awards into all aspects of our GTM strategy
  • Collaborate with field and event marketing leaders to ensure customer presence at key in-person events
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to incorporate customer insights and testimonials into email nurture tracks and web presence
  • Build a formal reference process for upmarket sales teams to ensure positive customer experience while improving win rates and velocity
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years working within the context of customer advocacy or customer marketing programs
  • 3+ years working in, or in support of, sales organizations
  • 3+ years experience working within Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including executive presence.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to be on track for simultaneous events of varying scales and timelines.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – strong problem solver who can analyze data and define solutions.
  • Metrics driven, experience having pipeline building responsibility a plus.
  • Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. Motive offers benefits including health, pharmacy, optical and dental care benefits, paid time off, sick time off, short term and long term disability coverage, life insurance as well as 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. Motive uses three geographic zones to determine pay range. For this role, the compensation ranges are:
San Francisco, California
$144,000$198,000 USD
U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City Area, Seattle, Washington D.C.
$130,000$178,000 USD
Other locations in the United States
$115,000$158,000 USD
