runZero is looking for a highly motivated Senior Customer Marketing Specialist to build engaging experiences for customers that will increase brand advocacy. You will partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to amplify the voice of our customers. In your role, you will develop strong relationships with customers, with the goal of building a community of brand evangelists.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator and writer, effective project manager, and creative thinker. This role directly supports sales and marketing initiatives by driving customer advocacy, which includes building programs around referrals, testimonials, case studies, and references. This role reports into the Director of Content Strategy and will have the opportunity to build our customer reference programs from the ground up.
What you'll do:- Partner with sales and customer success to identify and recruit customers who would be a great fit for case studies, testimonials, guest bloggers, and interviews
- Build, manage, and maintain programs that will help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
- Build and maintain a library of up-to-date customer stories, case studies, blogs, testimonials, videos, and logos
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure effective promotion and distribution of customer advocacy content
- Manage our case studies and customer reference schedule.
- 3+ years of experience in customer marketing, content marketing, or a similar role
- An empath who deeply understands our customer challenges and is unafraid to shine a light and amplify their stories
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships with customers
- Experience sourcing and building customer reference programs
- Excellent writing skills and a strong opinion on the Oxford comma
- Proven capabilities in project management, thinking creatively, and working cross-functionally
- Apply a hands-on approach to learning and solving problems
- SaaS, tech, or cybersecurity experience is a plus
Salary range: runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, we’re expecting this role to come in at a salary of about $80k-100k plus stock options. We know that the talent market is always in flux, so please let us know if you believe we have advertised this role at the wrong salary band.
