Senior Customer Solutions Engineer, Inventory & Manufacturing
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Solutions Engineer to join our growing Customer Success team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong background in Inventory & Manufacturing processes and software.
You will support the sales and retention process for our Customer Success team. You will participate in sales and customer discovery sessions, product demonstrations, product management design reviews, product marketing development efforts, and education and training to all teams as needed. You’ll be a primary driver in customer retention and adoption of the Unanet's GovCon Inventory & Manufacturing solution along with upsell sales support, assisting with product integration and enhancement of Unanet’s demonstration database.
What You’ll Do
- Provide in-depth knowledge of inventory and manufacturing processes and software requirements to internal teams and customers
- Participate in the sales cycle with Customer Success Managers, to include customer discovery sessions, understanding their specific inventory and manufacturing needs and providing expert guidance on Unanet's offerings
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of Unanet's inventory and manufacturing software and how it integrates with the GovCon ERP, highlighting its features and benefits to existing customers
- Collaborate with our Product Management team to review design and development of new features in Unanet's software
- Partner with Customer Success Managers on customer-specific plans to drive adoption of the solution and reduce risk of churn
- Work with our Product Marketing team to develop messaging and materials
- Provide education and training to internal teams
- Assist with product integration related to inventory and manufacturing, working with customers to ensure seamless integration with their existing systems
Your First 90 Days
In your first 30 days:Â
- Complete new hire orientation and be fully set up on your technology and our internal tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack, Zoom)
- Meet the various teams you’ll collaborate with across our organization
- Start learning the Unanet GovCon software and inventory and manufacturing integration
- Become familiar with our sales, product, and product marketing resources
- Develop a deep understanding of the industries we serve
- Learn how the partner and direct teams use the GovCon and inventory and manufacturing products
- Start developing a working knowledge of our Customer Success sales processes
- Begin to provide subject matter expertise to internal teams
In your first 60 days:
- Continue to deepen your knowledge of our GovCon product and inventory and manufacturing solution
- Assist in demonstration of integration and serve as SME for any related questions
- Provide subject matter expertise to Customer Success, Product, and Professional Services teams
- Continue to learn our product positioning and how to support sales efforts
- Learn how to maintain and update the Unanet GovCon as well as inventory and manufacturing demonstration databases
- Be introduced to our CRM product line
In your first 90 days:
- Begin to perform scripted introductory demonstrations of our solution and integration
- Leverage your Accounting, Inventory and/or Manufacturing background to act as Subject Matter Expert on any and all inventory and manufacturing demonstrations
- Continue to provide subject matter expertise to internal teams
- Proactively improve and promote quality in processes
 Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in inventory and manufacturing management software, preferably in a GovCon environment
- Experience demonstrating software solutions
- Extensive knowledge of inventory and manufacturing processes and software requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers and partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent projects
DifferentiatorsÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related
- Unanet GovCon ERP experience preferred
- Expertise in Accumatica, Sage, Deltek or a similar inventory and manufacturing software highly preferred
- Familiarity with government contracting regulations and requirements

The salary range for this opportunity is $95,000 - $110,000 per year. You will be eligible for employee equity as well as discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
