*Remote locations for this position include Florida, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll serve as our Senior Data Analyst, a key player in converting complex cybersecurity and business data into actionable insights. Utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning techniques, you'll design ETL workflows and collaborate with engineers and analysts to uphold data quality. You'll manage cloud-based SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability while managing our data lakes.
Your role is multifaceted, from refining data architecture aligned with business objectives to deploying cloud-based ML solutions. During security incidents, your real-time data analysis is mission-critical. You'll also spearhead the curation of real-time dashboards on our BI platform, making complex data understandable for both tech teams and C-suite executives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver accurate and trustworthy analytical reports and insights, ensuring data integrity and reliability to customers and the Digital Hands leadership team.
- Work alongside engineers to design and implement robust ETL workflows to sanitize, transform, and enrich raw data, enabling integration with automation platforms and reporting systems.
- Monitor and help troubleshoot ETL and other data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with software engineers and cybersecurity analysts to establish precise reporting requirements and uphold stringent data quality standards.
- Administer and optimize cloud-based SQL databases, guaranteeing fast query performance, high availability, and high reliability while managing costs.
- Partner with security analysts and DevOps to align data architecture strategies with overarching business and operational objectives.
- Swiftly address urgent, time-sensitive data analysis requests to provide crucial information during security incidents or for actionable business insights.
- Lead the creation and management of a scalable data warehouse architecture to optimize analytics capabilities and data integrations
- Administer the SiSense BI platform including ElasticCube design and troubleshooting.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience designing and implementing robust ETL data pipelines
- Familiarity using data tools on Google Cloud and AWS.
- Hands on experience working with cloud-based data warehouse like BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, JavaScript) required.
- Expert level SQL knowledge required
- Expertise using Python data analysis tools like Jupyter notebooks, Pandas, NumPy, etc.
- Experience administering SQL databases like PostgreSQL
- Expertise implementing dimensional data modeling methodologies is required.
- Experience deploying ELT management tools like Mage or DBT is a plus.
- Familiarity with cyber security tools like SIEM and EDR is preferred.
- Solid background in statistical analysis is required.
- Competency in gathering and documenting business requirements; collaborating with various departments across the organization.
- Embody a delivery-focused mindset, adept at clarifying and refining vague requirements to ensure the timely execution of high-quality work products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
