Senior Data Analyst

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst. This role will influence all aspects of the product and business. It will involve building tools to better inform internal teams, enhance decision making, and craft client experience. This role will also help shape our core culture and grow our team. You’ll be working on the biggest big data challenges the company faces and will execute across domains, such as:

• Becoming an expert of our entire data stack: how we get the data from customers, how we normalize that data, and how internal teams and customers consume that data.
• Building, maintaining, and testing data models which support reporting and analytics.
• Improving our customer facing reports, visualizations and dashboards that highlight the value SmarterDx delivers to our customers.
• Conducting data driven investigations into trends and anomalies impacting growth, customer success, product delivery and reliability.
• Developing internal-facing reports and dashboards highlighting the impact of people and systems across the company.
• Empowering internal team members through education and training to perform their own analytics.
• Working with leadership to create, refine and maintain metrics that track these stories.
• Providing data analysis support for our AI-based products.
• Participate in a rotation of engineers that diagnose, triage, and solve production data issues should they occur.

• 5+ years' experience as a healthcare data analyst (or, if your y-intercept is lower, evidence that your slope is super steep)
• Significant experience with healthcare data, ideally both clinical data (electronic health record data) and billing/claims data, ideally in a health system setting
• Ownership mindset. Build and own features from start to finish.
• Entrepreneurial mindset. Previous experience as an early joiner in a technology startup or evidence that you are scrappy. Deal well with ambiguity and understand that there is sometimes a need to hack a feature together.
• Product focus. How can we maximize the value we deliver to our customers?
