What You Will Do:

Reporting to Senior Manager, Quality, Data and Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst will enhance Stryker's capabilities in data analytics and reporting. This position will be responsible for discovering information hidden in data to derive value for the GQO QA function, improve decision making, and build reporting solutions to enhance outcomes and value.

They will be responsible for providing the organization with high-quality data analysis which will primarily be accessed through dashboards.

The Senior Data Analyst will support projects and initiatives that deliver value to our teams and can generate efficiencies with analyzing, reporting, or review of data for metrics, KPIs and data driven processes.

• Creation of new / updated Power BI reports, based on existing reports or new user requirements,
• Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions for executive leadership.
• Prepare and distribute scheduled business reports and ad hoc solutions.
• Develop predictive models and guide the implementation of predictive analytics in GQO.
• Provide automated, accurate data sets that will primarily be used within the teams reports and dashboards
• Design and implement automated reporting dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across multiple segments of the business.
• Based on engagement with the user base, help develop clear user requirements to aid articulate reporting needs
• Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Effectively communicate and present complex analytics to stakeholders and customers. Using BI tools to analyze data and report out results for process improvements.
• Identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to influence the direction of the business and cross-functional teams.
• Support development and maintenance of internal procedures and documentation that encompass the full lifecycle of data analytics related activities.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science with strong background in Statistics, Mathematics or related
• 2+ years' experience in a predominately analytics role
• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps & PowerAutomate
• Competency with various query languages and databases (e.g MySQL, MS SQL server, MS Azure)
• Executes tactically under direction and competently performs day to day activities and elevates more complex activities.
• Must have passion for telling stories through data and advanced capability in manipulating, aggregating, visualizing large data sets to derive intelligent insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience in a predominately analytics role in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Environment
• Comfort and willingness in utilizing other technology platforms (SAP, Oracle, Azure, etc)
• Experience with Data Engineering and Data Architecture such as ETL/ELT pipelines, data movement and data quality, relational databases and dimensional modelling
• Fundamental understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts. (e.g. hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, regression analysis, time series forecasting, and predictive modelling.)
• Have delivered analytical solutions using Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as R, Python, SQL Coding, Java Coding, Alteryx, data crunching, advanced excel modeling, VBA coding & macro writing

• $81k - $173 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
