The Center for Data and Insights Global Business Analytics team is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst with a passion for understanding data creating engaging visualizations tracking business trends and storytelling. You will focus on delivering actionable insights at the holistic business level and to executive/senior management teams from Strategy Finance Go-to-Market Operations and other departments.
In the role of Senior Data Analyst you will report to the Senior Manager Data Analytics.
We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Los Angeles.
Responsibilities- Act as a strategic thought partner to stakeholders across the business helping them frame questions identify opportunities and interpret insights to drive better decision-making.
- Partner closely with global teams to build strong relationships align on trends and manage analytics-related priorities.
- Develop dashboards reports and impactful presentations that translate complex data into clear actionable recommendations.
- Use creative and analytical thinking to connect data into cohesive insights that inform holistic business decisions.
- Keep abreast of the latest data analytics tools techniques and industry trends to ensure the team remains competitive.
- Provide guidance on best practices in Tableau and enable teams to maximize the tool's capabilities.
- Uphold a high standard of analytical rigor and exceptional service across all levels of the business navigating roadblocks and ensuring timely delivery.
- Leverage complex databases OLAP engines data warehouses and data lakes through SQL or SQL-like tools.
- Lead the development of weekly insights decks for leadership by synthesizing cross-functional input tracking goal progress and highlighting the business impact of key initiatives.

- You bring 8+ years of experience with data analysis advanced analytics statistics experimentation and optimization
- You have 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Python coupled with proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau Looker or Power BI
- You have experience defining KPIs statistical and predictive modeling concepts descriptive statistics and experimental design
- You have experience working with large datasets (Terabytes of data/ billions of records)
- You have experience building compelling and actionable presentations/visualizations directed at an executive level audience
- You have experience working across a globally matrixed organization
- You have experience in the SVOD or similar subscription based industry as a plus
- You possess a Bachelor's degree in Statistics Computer Science Information Systems or a related field providing a strong foundational knowledge and expertise
