Senior Data Analyst - US Remote

The Senior Data Analyst will be a key member of the Data Engineering Team reporting to the Director of Data Operations. As a Senior Data Analyst you will collaborate with department leaders to provide data insights and reports to support business decisions and measure the impact of those decisions. A successful candidate will be highly analytical and curious, as well as driven and motivated to be a part of a highly data driven organization.

• Develop and manage information to support corporate decision making.
• Identify and catalog company data assets that may be used to generate reports and perform analysis.
• Coordinate with department leaders and stakeholders to build requirements and communicate expected outcomes.
• Identify patterns and trends in our datasets and communicate to stakeholders to support better decision making.
• Evaluate and participate in decision making for any new analytics and data platforms to enhance our analytics tech stack.

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience required.
• 2+ years of direct Data Analytics experience.
• Fluency in Structured Query Language (PostgresSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Presto, etc.) and working with large relational databases.
• Experience leveraging Data Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Qlik or PowerBI for creating dashboard analytics.
• Efficient organizational skills and ability to work within processes, as well as develop and optimize processes.
• Thorough attention to detail and able to generate insights from large datasets.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Ability to collaborate with team members and execute on project plans that require input from others on the team.
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity and business ethics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Practical understanding of statistical analysis methods is a plus: Anomaly Detection, Regression, Segmentation/Clustering, etc.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services is a plus

This role will entail working with teams throughout the company and with various leaders in each department. This includes leading as well as supporting items such as the following: 

• Measuring and reporting on core business KPIs such as customer churn, conversion rates, usage metrics, and profitability to determine the current health of the business.
• Analyzing usage data for making determinations on product feasibility, optimal approach, and expenditures.
• Leveraging product and user data for generating insights to be delivered to our end-users.
• Evaluating and optimizing pricing strategies for the product and business.
• Evaluating product metrics to optimize product workflows and new feature opportunities.
