Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer is a senior professional who will play a key role in designing and implementing data architectures using Snowflake’s cloud data platform. Data Engineer has a crucial role in determining how data is organized, processed, and leveraged within an organization. Your strategic vision and technical expertise contribute to successful data-driven outcomes.

Here are the key responsibilities and skills associated with this position:

Mandatory Skills

• Strong background in data lake/warehousing concepts, ETL development, data modeling, metadata management and data quality
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Certifications for any of the cloud services like AWS, GCP or Azure
• 3+ coding in python

Good to have Skills

• Solution Design - Work with internal customers to shape data and analytics solutions, explore possibilities, and design solutions.
• Data Design - Design data models and ETL approaches for the solutions.  
• Reporting Design - Work with the reporting team to ensure final products (reports, dashboards, apps, etc) meet business needs and make appropriate use of the data solutions.
• Development - Ability to POC data solutions, deliver some of the more challenging components, and support the rest of the team on their efforts. 
• Platform Architecture - Work with tool administrators to keep the tools working and optimized.
