Guild is hiring a Senior DEIB Accessibility Manager to sit on team DEIB. This role will report directly to the VP for DEIB and collaborate closely with the Director for DEIB, DEIB Engagement Manager, Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders, and cross-functional partners. 

Team DEIB

The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Team at Guild, drives strategy, execution, and program management of DEIB initiatives under the People Organization. We serve as subject matter experts and thought partners to Guild leaders and teams, offering perspective, insights, and knowledge in a consultative manner to partners across the company.

Senior Accessibility Manager

The Senior DEIB Accessibility Manager leads the creation of processes and procedures for coordinating and maintaining Guild accessibility related standards; partners with responsible People Team members to provide guidance on employee requests; and provides data on activities, goals, and initiatives. This position will influence, drive, socialize, and govern Guild's accessibility strategy across stakeholders who strive to deliver inclusive products across digital platforms.

As Senior DEIB Accessibility Manager, you will:

Accessibility Acumen and Strategy

  • Serve as the Accessibility Subject Matter Expert on evolving industry guidelines and digital standards and how they impact our content authoring, content production, and delivery operations.

  • Develop, drive, socialize, and continuously improve content accessibility strategy for the People Team and across the organization.

  • Scope, plan and execute key accessibility-related initiatives through achievement setting, resource planning, etc.

Program Management and Employee Engagement

  • Manage and coordinate Disability Action Community (DAC) and Caregivers and Allies Network (CAN) Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) operations, working in concert with the DEIB Engagement Manager and serving as a thought partner and liaison between ERGs, Team DEIB, and the company at large.

  • Develop, implement and periodically revisit People Team programs, processes, and systems with an equity-minded lens.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Identify and collaborate with various stakeholders at Guild to build and maintain workflow guidelines for all aspects of content accessibility.

  • Use internal data and problem-solving skills to guide goal setting and supervising for your work streams and shared leadership initiatives.

  • Elevate concerns and work closely with People Operations, Employee Relations, Worklab, Learning and Outcomes and People Business Partners.

  • Support with the delivery of DEIB onboarding sessions in coordination with the DEIB Engagement Manager and Director for DEIB.

  • Provide training and resources to client-facing employees to ensure they understand the importance of accessibility and ways to incorporate it in the delivery lifecycle.


You are a strong fit for this role if you have:Required Competencies
  • Experience in business or operational aspects of implementing accessibility strategy.

  • Demonstrated understanding of accessibility best practices and trends in human resources and/or product development (e.g. program planning/development/management, training).

  • Proven DEIB competence with proven experience communicating and facilitating DEIB and social justice-centered conversations.

  • An ability to develop strong trust-based partnerships - balancing confidence, modesty, and subtlety at senior levels.

  • Experience with strategic OKR and critical metric planning as well as giving to departmental goals and strategy.

  • A collaborative approach, with experience building relationships and engaging partners across a complex organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience synthesizing information and communicating insights optimally.

  • Strong organizational skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to keep track of both the high-level progress and the small details.

  • Ability to maturely and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $135,000 - $161,250, as well as company stock options.
