DataCamp is looking for an industry experienced Senior Designer, to join the Marketing team on a freelance basis. In this role, you will help support the Marketing Creative Team on a variety of projects including attention grabbing campaigns, visual identities, website UI, motion graphics and marketing channel output (from email to social media). You’ll collaborate with teams across the business and influence excellent design solutions.We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience of relevant digital design - this is a high paced, exciting role where you will be expected to hit the ground running, managing your own projects and timelines from day 1.
- You'll support the Marketing Creative Studio across multiple marketing channels and touch-points, creating a variety of on-brand assets, (from paid social, organic social, email, display ads, video, editorial content, events, swag, presentations, web, etc).
- You’ll develop eye-catching campaign concepts and identities that cover everything from January Sale promotions to product launches (driving projects with momentum from brief to execution).
- You’ll ‘own’ your design projects and implement design improvements of key owned-channel output (everything from improving email templates to creating new organic social formats) - bringing your know-how to solve problems and create opportunities.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital design.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to bring together creative authority, a challenger brand and growth mindset, plus a future-focussed, innovative outlook.
- An enthusiasm and experience working across multiple channels (paid social, organic social, email, display, video, editorial content, events, swag, presentations, web, etc).
- Experience developing web pages, including wire-framing, strong understanding of messaging hierarchy, and UI/UX best practices.
- Highly organised with experience, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Expert knowledge of design tools including Figma, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Knowledge of Premier Pro is a bonus.
- A passion about all things design and the ability to inspire the business. You are proficient at presenting–and defending–your ideas to other designers, marketing team members, and company leaders.
