Senior DevOps Engineer

A bit about this role:

You’ll be working as part of a small and very dedicated team in a remote, casual, non-corporate work environment. Free thinking and collaboration is highly encouraged. We’re looking for someone to express their creative side and contribute directly to our business. You’ll build your skills as an engineer and enjoy the rewarding experience of seeing your efforts go directly into supporting working families. You will have the opportunity to work with Engineering teams and provide support for Dev Tools, as well as, Security to maintain secured cloud endpoints. The meaningful work you will tackle: 

• Design and maintain a highly available infrastructure on AWS
• Develop effective tooling to accelerate deploy and release management
• Build and implement monitoring, logging services and dashboards
• Experience with Establishing PCI standard implementation, automating PCI and HIPAA compliance tasks, Multi Factor Authentication

What we’re looking for in your background & what makes you a success:

• AWS experience is required
• 6 years minimum professional experience with building & managing production environment
• Professional (not academic) - AWS/Cloudformation: 6 years
• Professional (not academic) - Linux administration: 6 years
• Professional (not academic) - Jenkins/Nexus/Git - 6 years
• Professional (not academic) - Python/Ruby/Bash - 6 year
• Must have the ability to work independently but also to collaborate as part of a larger team
• Must be eager, self-motivated, and a quick-learner
• Cognito, Kinesis, MySQL, Dynamodb, Qualys, Sourcegraph, Grafana - all a plus!
• B.S Degree in Computer Science OR B.S Degree in Software Development OR extensive relevant work experience
