What you can expect in this role day to day:
- Development of DevOps Toolset that interacts with the developers in a self service portal as well as via ChatOps
- Create multi-stage Docker builds
- Create Argo workflows
- Use Golang to integrate workflows into ChatOps
- Create triggers via Argo Events e.g. GitOps
- Integrate Kubernetes applications into ArgoCD e.g. GitOps
- Participate in 24/7 Oncall Rotation
- Automation of responses to Critical Oncall Alerts
Skills we are looking for:
- 5 years of DevOps/SRE ExperienceΒ
- Experience with High Traffic websites
- Scripting in one or more of these languages (Shell/Bash, Python, Golang, NodeJS/Javascript)
- Familiarity with Public Cloud Technologies (GCP Experience preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure As Code (Terraform)
- Experience with Edge Computing
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Docker and Containerization
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio)
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and ChatOps (Jenkins, Argo Events, ArgoCD/Argo Workflows)
- Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible)
- Familiarity with metrics and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Cortex, Thanos, Loki, Kiali, Jaeger)
- Experience with Cloud Native technology
- Experience with secret management (Vault)
- Experience with version control (Git)
Good Certifications to have:
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
- Kubernetes Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
- Terraform Associate
- Vault Associate
- Google Cloud Developer
- Google Cloud Engineer
- Google Cloud Architect
- Google Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Google Cloud Security Engineer
- Google Cloud Networking Engineer
