The Role

At Aisera, we’re building a world-class team. As a Senior DevOps, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, availability, and scalability of the Aisera SaaS service. Being part of the Engineering team, you will partner closely with our product and customer success team. This role will help lead our DevOps Engineering team, and will allow Aisera to be successful as we grow our user base exponentially. 

What You'll Do:

• Manage a team of people responsible for maintaining the health and availability of Aisera’s SaaS
• Hands-on experience to proactively build reliability into the product
• Setting and maintaining SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs
• Managing Cost across all operations
• Plan and prioritize operations projects
• Manage all on-call incident response process and operations shifts
• Develop and improve the overall observability of the application and infrastructure
• Proactively test the flexibility and resilience of the system
• You'll be working with Federal customers and SaaS based systems

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Computer Science is a must 
• Hands-on experience to proactively build reliability into the product
• At least 5 years of prior experience managing a team 
• Deep knowledge public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP and Azure)
• Experience required with Terraform, Helm, Docker and relevant deployment frameworks
• GitOps mindset: terraform, kops, helm, jsonnet. Every infrastructure component should be declaratively defined. Jenkins / Gradle and Python / Bash knowledge is good to have.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools; understanding of the deployment and operations of large-scale SaaS applications; familiarity with the testing, staging, and production stages using microservices-based architectures on public and private clouds
• Knowledge of Networking, Systems, and Linux is a must
