We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.

About the role:

This Senior DevSecOps Engineer will join a 6-person team that is developing a new platform for Space Force software developers. A strong candidate shall have demonstrable industry experience at an Individual Contributor Level. A successful candidate has prior experience deploying Kubernetes in multiple ways and supporting automation of platform management. The engineer shall have experience developing platform APIs that make common software operations scalable and repeatable. The engineer will feel comfortable maintaining the underlying services required to host containerized applications. The engineer will possess effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, internal and external to the organization. In this awesome role, your voice will be heard and you will be able to take ownership of several aspects of the platform. will support the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles. You will develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps for Software Delivery.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• At least three years of experience working with Docker or Kubernetes; provisioning production clusters and maintaining their compliance
• Comfortable provisioning and debugging complex CI/CD pipelines
• Enjoy collaborating with the team to plan tickets and epics
• Experience with at least one agile methodology, preferably Scrum
• Loves to demo work to team and stakeholders
• Solid understanding of Helm Charts
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Highly preferred:

• Experience with Big Bang and/or Platform One
• Experience with several of these services and tools:
  • Rancher RKE2
  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines or equivalent 
  • Istio
  • FluxCD
  • ArgoCD
  • Terraform/Terragrunt

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
