Senior Digital Video Producer

Yahoo Finance is seeking a Senior Digital Video Producer to join the NYC team. To be considered for this role candidates must live within a daily commuting distance to our NYC office.
Responsibilities :

• Pitching story ideas and guests, arranging shoots, field producing, scripting, and editing pieces on Premiere
• Create branded and sponsored content for Yahoo Finance Live
• Book and interview guests for Yahoo Finance Live
• Shooting and editing - the ability to edit quickly and under pressure
• Balance multiple projects with strong communication and collaboration
• Consistent fact-checking and attention to detail to ensure accuracy prior to publishing

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of video production experience within a news media outlet, digital media outlet preferred
• Ability to shoot in the field or studio and regularly use camera equipment + editing equipment for hours at a time
• Ability to be creative and resourceful in the field
• Mastery of camera equipment and able to lift gear and operate gear as a one-person band when needed, including experience with LiveU
• Proven track record producing for optimizing video for digital platforms, including O&O
• Hands-on experience with CMS and digital publishing tools
• Proficient in editing with Adobe Premiere
• Understanding of social media and the ability to shift with the ever-evolving social media landscape
• Must hold a current driver's license and be willing to be the main vehicle operator in any traffic environment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required
• Ability to work well with others in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities, multiple projects, and tasks with ease
• This is a Hybrid position (New York-based)
