Senior Director, IT Operations

Quickbase is looking for a driven Senior Director of IT Operations to oversee our team of IT specialists. This is an opportunity to grow with an organization that is scaling and in a fast-paced environment. This job will report directly to the CIO and is in charge of managing the organization's IT operations and infrastructure.
We are looking for applicants that have a track record of creating effective teams and operational frameworks in addition to experience creating governance standards, adopting best practices, and enhancing operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT operations staff and provide guidance on managing the company's infrastructure, network, systems, and security.
• Develop and implement policies, processes and best practices that ensure the dependability, security, and scalability of Quickbase's systems & endpoints.
• Create governance best practices and standards to guarantee adherence to legal obligations and industry norms.
• Contribute to and implement the organization's IT strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the CIO and other IT leaders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the installation and maintenance of corporate applications and systems.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure support SLAs are met while getting the best value for IT services and products.
• Track and report on system uptime, incident response time, and user satisfaction in addition to other essential IT performance indicators.
• Determine IT risks and weaknesses, address them, and create backup plans to lessen the effects of potential disruptions.
• Increase operational effectiveness on a continuous basis by figuring out ways to automate and optimize processes.

• Oversee IT projects from start through completion to make sure they are finished on schedule, under budget, and in compliance with business needs.
• To keep Quickbase's technology systems cutting-edge and competitive, keep up with evolving technologies and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. The preferred degree is a master's.

• 10 years or more of experience in IT operations or a similar industry is required, with at least 5 of those years spent in a leadership position.
• strong technical understanding of network operations, systems, and IT infrastructure.
• demonstrated expertise in creating and putting into practice best practices, policies, and procedures.
• A track record of creating productive teams and organizational structures.
• Knowledge about best practices and standards for governance.

• Experience leading IT projects from concept to completion and managing IT teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build bonds and work well with cross-functional teams.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, together with the capacity for strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Understanding of cloud-based services, infrastructure, vulnerability management (Azure, Rapid7, Jamf, Intune)
• Preferable is prior experience working in an Agile setting.

• Certifications in the field are preferred, such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP, etc.
