As the Senior Director, Medicare Marketing, you will be part of the Brand and Growth Marketing team working to build a consistent and best in class patient experience for our Medicare 65+ patients. You will be responsible for the overall acquisition, retention, and engagement strategy to grow the Medicare segment. This role reports to the Vice President, Brand and Growth Marketing.
In this new role, you will work with key stakeholders across VillageMD to ensure every touchpoint for this audience delivers on the patient experience strategy and brand platform. You will have the critical eye to ensure the experience is clear, easy, and helps this audience better manage their health by staying engaged with their Village Medical care plan. This role is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and guidance for the Medicare patient. This individual will advocate for the Medicare patient and will review Medicare and MA trends, competitive experiences and data, to build a best-in-class experience for the Medicare patients.
This Senior Director role requires strong analysis, influencing skills and ability to communicate a vision while understanding the individual elements needed to get us there. This role requires you to be able to look at a project from a strategic perspective and simultaneously understand the various components, team priorities, and the impacts. To be successful, this person is a results-oriented individual with the ability to work cross functionally to deliver and keep others on task to meet defined goals.
You’ll be responsible for supporting our national growth and strategic goals, by activating our brand, efficiently driving efficient patient engagement and retention and ensuring a consistent and highly satisfactory experience for all stakeholders.Â
How you can make a difference
- Lead the development of a first in class, multichannel Medicare patient experience including welcome, onboarding and partner with Patient Engagement colleague to deliver ongoing retention campaigns.
- Manage AEP and OEP campaign activation and build strong relationships with hospital networks, payers and other local plans.Â
- Develop personas/cohorts to identify where patients are in their overall health and wellness journey including chronic conditions, comorbidities, and gaps in care.
- Execute personalized campaigns with health and wellness content that resonates with the patient to build trust and promote engagement with their care plan.
- Develop reporting campaign effectiveness metrics for individual and multi touch campaigns against KPIs.
- Work closely with Growth Marketing colleagues to ensure media and message strategies support the Medicare audience.
- Partner with business owners across clinical, local markets, tech, and CRM to develop an overall communication plan and ensure messages are streamlined and patient friendly.

Experience to drive change
- 8+ years of strategic marketing experience required, including Medicare and health plans
- Bachelor degree requiredÂ
- Healthcare experience requiredÂ
- Demonstrated stakeholder management abilities
- Experience delivering lifecycle marketing campaigns from acquired through to loyolty
- Demonstrated ability to execute multichannel marketing approaches strongly preferred
- Experience driving campaign optimization (eg, A/B testing) and marketing automation (eg, Salesforce) preferred
- Proven project management skills evidenced by the ability to effectively manage internal stakeholders, direct multiple vendors and resources, meet deadlines and adhere to budgets

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $138,000.00 to $184,000.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
