We’re looking for an experienced Senior Director of People to support our Human Resource efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.

About the role:

Raft is seeking a Senior Director of People to oversee the entire People strategy for the company and serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team. The ideal candidate will lead and be responsible for all areas of the HR function, including compensation and benefits, talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, workforce planning, talent development, culture and engagement, HR systems and operations, and policies. 

This leader will join Raft at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory as the company continues to mature. You will create a leading culture and employee experience to attract, foster, and retain the best builders. 

As a Senior Director of People, you will use your skills to:

  • Partner with the Executive team to develop People Strategy Roadmap to drive culture, increase remote engagement, and enhance long term people strategy  
  • Shape performance management, organizational design, career progression framework, and workforce planning for rapidly growing scale up 
  • Partner with Executive leadership on multiple strategic initiatives, including total compensation strategy, manager development, employee development, and other learning and development initiatives. 
  • Oversee all orientation/onboarding, employee transitions, and succession planning. Elevate the onboarding process to introduce new team members to Raft’s 

What we are looking for:

  • Well-rounded HR professional with several years of progressive leadership experience in a rapidly changing, growth-oriented and results-driven technology environment.  
  • Love the challenge of connecting a geographically distributed team solving hard disparate problem sets    
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can partner with the executive team to bring structure to the chaos of a fast-growing company

  • Experience in government contracting
  • A strong desire for leadership & growth
  • In-depth knowledge OFCCP/EEO laws and regulations
