Senior Director, Product - Go to Market
Job Description
This position will shape and execute go-to-market strategies for our products, with an emphasis on driving commercial outcomes. As Go to Market is a team sport, Go to Market is also responsible for building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders to drive product success. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking, leadership acumen, and a proven track record in successfully launching and driving the adoption of innovative products.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market insights, assess competition, and identify key market trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with product development, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with sales teams to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and collateral to effectively communicate product value to customers and gather feedback for product improvement.
- Launch Execution:Lead the end-to-end execution of product launches, coordinating with various teams to meet timelines and deliverables. Monitor and analyze the success of product launches, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.Collaborate closely to understand customer needs and gather feedback for validation of outcomes and continuous product improvement.
- Product Positioning and Messaging: Define and articulate clear value propositions for products, tailoring messaging to target audiences. Work closely with marketing and communication teams to develop compelling content that resonates with customers and differentiates our products in the market.
- Market Analysis and Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven experience in product management or product marketing with 10+ years experience
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and developing effective go-to-market strategies
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership experience and the ability to influence cross-functional teams
The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000- $190,000
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
