About the RoleVidyard is looking for a Senior Director, Sales to join our sales team. Reporting to the VP, Revenue, you will grow and lead a department of Account Executives and managers. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving individual, team and organizational quotas across the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, split into New Business and Upsell revenue. You will also have SDR and BDR resources at your disposal to grow the pipeline for this segment.Â

About the TeamOur Commercial Sales Team team consists of Account Executives, Growth Account Executives & Sales Managers focused on the Mid-market and Enterprise segment. They align side-by-side with our Emerging Sales Team which is focused on our SMB segments. You will hold a senior position within the sales team, responsible for acquiring and growing our largest customers world-wide. Coordination with marketing efforts & product development will be key to success in this role as 95% of our new customers have free Vidyard users already seeing value from our platform. Your role will be to understand the PLG process and optimize conversion rates from free users to enterprise customers. Â
What You’ll Work On- Drive a culture of achievement to exceed revenue and productivity targets
- Set clear expectations around revenue generating activities and strategies for creating pipeline
- Work with marketing for in-market events and lead generation activities
- Design and build the Commercial Sales team structure for scale
- Grow and develop a team of high performance sales managers
- Coach your team in effective sales strategies, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning
- Analyze forecasts, call volumes and individual pipelines for inefficiencies and areas of improvement
- Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring other senior leaders and strategic support to large deals
- Experience leading a department of sales teams in a SaaS or technology sales environment
- Track record of consistently achieving quota and strategic objectives
- Experience managing and closing complex B2B sales cycles with C-level decision makers
- Experience starting an EMEA operation for a North American business will be an asset
- Post-secondary degree/diploma preferred
- You will have Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo & SalesNavigator at your disposal to help your team achieve their targets
