Team: Account Executive
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Sales - Mid-Market in United States.
This is a high-impact sales leadership role responsible for driving new logo acquisition across the mid-market segment in North America. You will lead a team of Account Executives selling complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS solutions into finance organizations, particularly the office of the CFO. The role requires a leader who can both build structure and elevate execution, establishing disciplined pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, and repeatable sales motions. You will play a central role in scaling a high-performing team while improving deal quality, conversion rates, and overall revenue performance. This position blends strategic leadership with hands-on coaching in complex deal cycles, ensuring consistent execution across a fast-growing organization. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen go-to-market alignment and customer lifecycle performance.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead, coach, and scale a mid-market sales organization while driving predictable revenue growth and pipeline discipline.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Mid-Market Account Executives focused on new logo acquisition
- Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new sales talent to support team growth and expansion
- Establish strong pipeline generation, deal progression, and forecasting discipline across the team
- Ensure consistent outbound prospecting activity and pipeline creation beyond marketing-driven leads
- Coach reps on complex, multi-threaded sales cycles, stakeholder mapping, and value articulation
- Actively support and influence large enterprise-level mid-market deals with longer sales cycles
- Engage senior finance stakeholders including CFOs and Controllers to drive executive-level conversations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, SDRs, Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Partnerships
- Improve pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and overall go-to-market execution efficiency
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS or technology organizations
- 8+ years of overall experience in complex, solution-based sales environments
- Proven success leading mid-market or enterprise sales teams with long sales cycles
- Strong coaching ability in deal strategy, pipeline development, and sales execution rigor
- Demonstrated experience building forecasting discipline and pipeline inspection frameworks
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for pipeline and forecasting management
- Experience selling into the office of the CFO or financial decision-makers strongly preferred
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environments
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on leadership and execution focus
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial operations platforms is a plus
