As the Senior Director of Total Rewards, you will be responsible for leading benefits, payroll, compensation, executive compensation, and HRIS management, developing our global total rewards philosophy. In this collaborative and high-impact role, you’ll work closely with our executive team, board, compensation committee and numerous department leads on an array of initiatives; some of these initiatives include designing and implementing company-wide compensation and benefits programs, iterating on our market analysis strategy and internal compensation structures, benchmarking, and onboarding. As Podium continues to grow and scale, Total Rewards will, too. You’ll be part of our People Operations department and report to our VP of People.
What you will be doing:
- Lead high-performing teams dedicated to payroll, benefits, and compensationÂ
- Manage our HRIS instance and future implementation of a new HRISÂ
- Own our sales, corporate, and executive compensation
- Manage our equity pool and develop future iterations of our equity strategyÂ
- Develop and create a thoughtful and robust Total Rewards strategy, working cross-functionally with executives, senior leaders, key partners, and with the Total Rewards team; driving Podium's business objectives that support, reward, and recognize talent.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefits programs; identifying opportunities to better enable the company to improve employee engagement, particularly with respect to equity compensation
- Benchmark activities across all areas of rewards to elevate our understanding of our compensation competitiveness globally, and evolve it over time to meet the changing landscape of Total Rewards
- Forecast and propose a long-term compensation and equity roadmap that is competitive in the marketplace while keeping in mind our equity pool
- Build out dashboards to provide visibility on pay parity and progression metrics to support our efforts for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce
What you should have:
- 10+ years of experience managing compensation, benefits, payroll, and/or HRIS
- 4+ years of people leadership experienceÂ
- Fluency with UKG and/or Workday
- Global compensation, benefits, and payroll experience
- Builder mentality and a collaborative spiritÂ
- Advanced excel skills with the ability to perform detailed calculations, modeling, and analysis using data in building total rewards plans reconciled with budgets and forecasts
- Familiarity with HRIS, salary surveys, Radford data for benchmarking, external vendors, and other global compensation and benefit providers and tools
- Strong team leader that possesses deep market expertise and robust experience building and running high-impact total rewards solutions that motivate and retain employees, prioritize business objectives, and drive strategic plans forward
